White wood shavings
White wood shavings are made from white spruce wood, and these wood shavings are mechanically dedusted before being pressed. Curls work very easily with mucking out because excrement can easily be scooped out of the barn without completely emptying the barn.
Production of white wood shavings
The wood planing company makes wood shavings especially for use as ground cover in stables, including horse stables. The stable has a fresh and clean appearance through the use of wood shavings. Wood shavings are therefore shavings of soft spruce wood and are coarser than sawdust.
Wood shavings or flax in the stable?
Wood shavings are easy to remove from the stable. With flax this is a bit more work, but false only needs to be completely replaced after about 12 weeks. With both beddings, you regularly have to remove wet spots and manure from the stable. If you are looking for a better stable bed, it is best to choose wood shavings. This is softer and gives more suspension. And that is better for your animal's joints. With an absorption capacity of 4 to 5 times its own weight, flax absorbs a lot more moisture than wood shavings, which absorb 3 times its own weight in moisture. Wood shavings absorb the smell of the stable a lot better than flax.
Advantages and disadvantages of white wood shavings:
White wood shavings give off a fresh scent and appearance. It is also good for your animal's joints because it is soft and comfortable. Wood shavings absorb the odor well so that your stable smells less.
The absorption capacity of wood shavings is 3x its own weight less than many other ground cover plants, but still quite high. It also has a slow composting rate, which makes it less convenient if you want to spread the product on your own land.

Hoe kom ik aan tokens?
Door je winkelmandje te vullen, vul je automatisch ook je 'token mandje'. Hoe meer je bestelt, hoe meer tokens je krijgt. Per product staat vermeld hoeveel tokens je voor dit product krijgt. Dit wordt vermenigvuldigd met het aantal van het betreffende product in je mandje 'et voila', dat zijn het aantal tokens in jouw mandje. Je kunt hierbij verschillende producten combineren om aan de gewenste aantallen te komen.
