Our flax loam is extracted in France and then pressed into 20 kg bales and dedusted in factories in the Netherlands and Belgium. The good thing about flax is that it has a very high absorption capacity. It breeds dry in the stable. So you don't have to remove flax from the stable every week, you only have to do this after about 12 weeks. You only remove the wet and dirty spots and you supplement the whole with fresh flax.
Flax straw is made by crushing the stems of the flax plant. In the past, flax was only used in the wood and furniture industry and as insulation. But because of the high absorption of flax, it also turned out to be very useful as a bedding in stables.
Why do you choose flax
Are you looking for a bedding that can absorb a lot of moisture? Then flax is a very good option. Ideal in the stable! You do not have to replace false every week, if you muck out the wet spots every week and sprinkle a bag of fresh flax it is sufficient. You replace this bedding completely every 12 weeks. Flax is dust-free, so it is good if your animal quickly suffers from respiratory problems. Another advantage: flax also makes good compost because it is quickly degradable and very light.

The disadvantages of flax

The downside: Flax can be slippery and stinks a little more than other beddings because it cuts odor less than other products. Another disadvantage of flax is that it is not digestible, if your horse starts eating the bedding, this can cause problems. Therefore, make sure that your animal does not continue to eat it.

Dit wordt vermenigvuldigd met het aantal van het betreffende product in je mandje 'et voila', dat zijn het aantal tokens in jouw mandje. Je kunt hierbij verschillende producten combineren om aan de gewenste aantallen te komen.
