In the description of each product we clearly state what qualities and pros each batch has. You can find if your hay contains a little or a lot of energy, protein and sugars. And you can read what structure, fragrance and colour your hay has. This way we hope to ensure you can make the right choice for your horses, goats, sheep and alpacas.
How does ordering hay and straw bales online work?
In our webship you choose the right product for you. Looking for hay or straw bales? Meadow hay, alfalfa or shavings? You can then choose when we deliver your order out of our assorted dates. We will deliver it to your chosen location. We can even get to the hard to reach places because of our large heftruck. Which saves you a lot of back pain.
The price of hay and straw and the delivery fees
We offer batches of hay, alfalfa, straw, flax and shavings at different price ranges. The price is dependent on the quality of the roughage and beddings. The delivery fees are dependent on what you order. The more you order, the more we have to deliver. The more you order the less we have to drive and the cheaper the delivery will be as it is less straining on the environment. We believe sustainability is extremely important!
Tokensystem
At Hay to You we work with a token system that calculates your delivery fees and discounts. Whenever you order we will automatically calculate how many tokens you get. You are basically filling your “token basket”
- From 200 tokens onwards delivery fees will be waived
- From 200 tokens onwards you will receive a 5% discount
- From 1000 tokens onwards you will receive a 10% discount
“Volume” is the most important factor in the transport of roughage and beddings. This is why the amount of tokens awarded is determined with the volume of the product. The larger the bale, the more tokens you get! It is noted how many tokens you get per product under product information. This is multiplied with the amount of the product you ordered and that is how many tokens you will receive. You can mix and match different products and different amounts to get to the goal. Hoe kom ik aan tokens?
Door je winkelmandje te vullen, vul je automatisch ook je 'token mandje'. Hoe meer je bestelt, hoe meer tokens je krijgt. Per product staat vermeld hoeveel tokens je voor dit product krijgt. Dit wordt vermenigvuldigd met het aantal van het betreffende product in je mandje 'et voila', dat zijn het aantal tokens in jouw mandje. Je kunt hierbij verschillende producten combineren om aan de gewenste aantallen te komen.

Doordat 'volume'de belangrijkste factor in het transport van ruwvoeders en bodembedekkers is, zijn het aantal tokens toegekend per product afgestemd op het volume van de verpakking. Hoe groter de baal, hoe meer tokens je krijgt voor dit product!
