we are looking for high-quality roughage and beddings. We will gladly deliver these products to your home or stable so you can spend more time with your horses, goats, sheep, alpacas, cows and pigs. You can order the best bales of meadow hay, alfalfa, grass seed hay and beddings easily online.
The shortest route to your doorstep
Sadly, there is not yet an electrical truck with which we can deliver our hay bales. We do, however, look at what is possible. That is why we chose for Bumbal. Using the smart software they developed we ensure that we can drive the shortest route possible. This tool also ensures that our drivers drive the smartest and most efficient route. Using Bumbal we can also limit our use of paper, almost excluding it entirely. Our drivers input the necessary information into the app. Together with Bumbal we are aiming to stop wasting time, kilometres and paper.
CO2 compensation
Of course our lorries still emit CO2. That is why we chose to partner with Shell. Shell offers logistics service providers a programme to compensate for the emissions produced by their trucks. Throughout the entire world Shell works on projects to lower the global CO2 emissions. While also striving to better the local communities and help them protect the local ecosystems. These projects generate so-called CO2-credits which allow us to compensate for our truck’s emissions.
We help these projects by paying an extra toll on our tanked petrol in kilos. This small effort helps international and certified CO2-compensation projects. The projects which Shell aids also help the local communities besides compensating for the CO2 emissions. This is done by, for example; financing new schools or providing clean water. Everything mentioned above qualifies these projects under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). Currently this stamp is the most used title for voluntary global projects which compensate for C)2 emissions.

Hoe kom ik aan tokens?
Door je winkelmandje te vullen, vul je automatisch ook je 'token mandje'. Hoe meer je bestelt, hoe meer tokens je krijgt. Per product staat vermeld hoeveel tokens je voor dit product krijgt. Dit wordt vermenigvuldigd met het aantal van het betreffende product in je mandje 'et voila', dat zijn het aantal tokens in jouw mandje. Je kunt hierbij verschillende producten combineren om aan de gewenste aantallen te komen.
Waarom werken wij met een tokens?
Naast een topkwaliteit en een fantastische service heeft Hay To You nog twee belangrijke zaken nauw aan het hart liggen, namelijk:
- een eerlijke prijs voor de klant;
- een zo laag mogelijke ecologische footprint voor onze wereld.
Dit kunnen we bereiken door met een zo vol mogelijke vrachtwagen te rijden. Dus hoe meer 'volume' je per keer bestelt, des te minder vaak we bij je hoeven te leveren en hoe goedkoper en minder belastend voor het mileu we kunnen werken!

Doordat 'volume'de belangrijkste factor in het transport van ruwvoeders en bodembedekkers is, zijn het aantal tokens toegekend per product afgestemd op het volume van de verpakking. Hoe groter de baal, hoe meer tokens je krijgt voor dit product!
