Hay to You supports animals in the wild. / News
The webshop Hay to You aims to contribute to a better world alongside providing the best roughage for animals. The Sanders brothers see this as their responsibility as entrepreneurs. Therefore, Hay to You is a donor of the Wildlife Foundation. This foundation is committed to protecting endangered animal and plant species both domestically and internationally through education, scientific research, breeding programs, and field protection. The foundation particularly focuses on endangered animal species.
Conservation of animals in the wild
Robin Sanders explains why they chose this particular cause. “With our daily activities, albeit on a commercial basis, we improve the lives of captive animals by providing them with the best roughage. We want that improvement of life for wild animals as well. Additionally, we believe that wild animals have received far too little attention in recent decades, as evidenced by the large numbers of animals that have been lost, gone extinct, or are threatened with extinction due to human actions. We are happy to contribute to a positive trend.
The Wildlife Foundation is an initiative of the Libema group. Libema manages various zoos, such as Safaripark Beekse Bergen, Zooparc Overloon, Dierenrijk Nuenen, and Aquazoo Leeuwarden. The company works with donors who adopt animals from one of the parks, and with that income, the Wildlife Foundation funds various projects.
Our adopted animals: white tiger, rhinoceros, and giraffe
Hay to You has adopted several animals; the white tiger at Zooparc Overloon, a rhinoceros at Dierenrijk, and a giraffe at Beekse Bergen. The fun part is that Hay to You is allowed to visit and feed the animals on specific dates. Hay to You is happy to share these privileges with our customers. Customers who for example placed an order in January and February 2022 have the chance to admire the white tiger in real life.
And what is Robin Sanders' favorite animal? “That is the elephant,” he states. In the past, Sanders has adopted two elephants and has had the opportunity to observe them up close several times. “The grandeur of this animal is beyond words. Combined with wisdom and empathy, this is truly a unique animal that must never disappear from the world. So when you shop with us, you also support animals in the wild.”

- Vanaf 200 tokens wordt je bestelling gratis thuisbezorgd.
- Vanaf 500 tokens krijg je 5% korting.
- Vanaf 1000 tokens krijg je 10% korting.
Hoe kom ik aan tokens?
Door je winkelmandje te vullen, vul je automatisch ook je 'token mandje'. Hoe meer je bestelt, hoe meer tokens je krijgt. Per product staat vermeld hoeveel tokens je voor dit product krijgt. Dit wordt vermenigvuldigd met het aantal van het betreffende product in je mandje 'et voila', dat zijn het aantal tokens in jouw mandje. Je kunt hierbij verschillende producten combineren om aan de gewenste aantallen te komen.
Waarom werken wij met een tokens?
Naast een topkwaliteit en een fantastische service heeft Hay To You nog twee belangrijke zaken nauw aan het hart liggen, namelijk:
- een eerlijke prijs voor de klant;
- een zo laag mogelijke ecologische footprint voor onze wereld.
Dit kunnen we bereiken door met een zo vol mogelijke vrachtwagen te rijden. Dus hoe meer 'volume' je per keer bestelt, des te minder vaak we bij je hoeven te leveren en hoe goedkoper en minder belastend voor het mileu we kunnen werken!

Doordat 'volume'de belangrijkste factor in het transport van ruwvoeders en bodembedekkers is, zijn het aantal tokens toegekend per product afgestemd op het volume van de verpakking. Hoe groter de baal, hoe meer tokens je krijgt voor dit product!
