French Alfalfa – 1st Cut 2026 | Approx. 33 kg Bale

An excellent first-cut alfalfa from the French Pyrenees, harvested early in May 2026. The analysis shows 13% protein and less than 4% sugar, giving you clear information about what you are feeding your animals.

The long, dry summer of 2026 allowed this first cut to be harvested early under favourable conditions. After that, however, growth virtually came to a standstill. We therefore expect French alfalfa to be in limited supply this year, with good-quality batches becoming increasingly scarce.

As this batch was harvested in May, it has now had plenty of time to mature after harvesting.

The bales weigh approximately 33 kg and are packed in practical bundles of 14. A full bundle weighs approximately 462 kg and can be unloaded mechanically, making delivery and storage easier.
