Lick stone IMIMA Spirulina Plus 3kg

The Spirulina Plus is a licking stone with Mediterranean sea salt as a base, to which spirulina algae have been added.

Spirulina is used for both humans and animals as a nutritional supplement, and is often considered a superfood. The algae grows in mineral-rich saltwater lakes in parts of Africa and South America. Commercially, the algae is also grown in North America and Asia.

Spirulina is rich in vitamins, essential amino acids, omega 3 fatty acids, essential fatty acids, and a high protein content of 60-70%.

Spirulina falls under cyanobacteria, which also includes blue-green algae, blue-green algae is poisonous and spirulina is not, even the opposite. Spirulina provides natural protection against toxins, and thus has a protective effect on the liver, kidneys and contributes to diabetes complaints in humans and animals. For example, it contributes positively to horses with insulin resistance, EMS or PPID (formerly called Cushing's). Spiruline PLus is also recommended for lactating mares to counteract anemia.

In short, Spirulina Plus is a real superfood supplement!

Imima licking stones are enriched with various minerals and vitamins that address specific problems for your horse.

A horse naturally has a high need for minerals and vitamins. In the current way of keeping horses, horses get far fewer minerals and vitamins than a horse in nature. But how do you supplement the right amount of all minerals and vitamins? Your horse will help you!

Imima has a whole line with all kinds of different mineral stones with different additives. By offering them in a buffet form, your horse will use the stones that it needs at that moment, so your horse will tell you what it needs!

We are extremely enthusiastic about this concept. You can start with a basic package of 4 stones, and supplement with stones that you think your horse needs, we also have a package tailored to the needs of your horse in the winter, and a package with stones that help your horse through the summer!
