This batch of grass seed hay consists of Kentucky bluegrass, a fine grass variety with a soft, delicate structure that is generally very well accepted by horses. The hay is not particularly green in colour, but it still looks attractive and appetising.

What makes this batch truly special is its exceptionally low sugar content of just 2.4 percent. In fact, we cannot remember ever having had a batch with a lower sugar analysis.

Unfortunately, only a limited quantity is available. We therefore recommend ordering this hay in smaller quantities and combining it with another type of hay. By mixing the two, you can reduce the average sugar content of the overall forage ration. This means that even a relatively small amount of this very low-sugar hay can be a useful addition to the ration.
